SUMMARY

Don Kenyon was one of the legends of Worcestershire cricket, amassing 37000+ first-class runs and with it signing off as the county's highest run-scorer. He also played 8 times for England and was ranked as an alternate partner for Len Hutton when Cyril Washbrook was unfit or unavailable.

In 1959, Kenyon became Worcestershire's captain and led the club to second place three years later. In 1964, Kenyon captained Worcestershire to its first ever Championship triumph before repeating the feat in 1965. After retirement from all forms of cricket, he served as an English selector.
